An Exclusive Interview With J. Kenner:

~ with Jillian Stein of Read Love Blog

Oh, how I loved Ryan and Jamie’s story! How did you choose them for this novella?

Yay! I’m thrilled you loved it! And as for your question, fans chose them! After Tame Me, so many fans wanted to see what happened next, that I just had to write it.

Jamie has some big relationship and marriage fears. I mean we know marriage can sure be tough at times! What one piece of advice would you give Jamie when it comes to her cold feet?

Oh, great question, especially for a Valentine’s Day release. I think I’d tell her she needs to follow her heart. Her fear doesn’t stem from Ryan, so as long as she clings to her heart and what she knows she wants, she’ll be fine!

Who would you dream cast as Ryan and Jamie?

Argh! I’m terrible at this question because I never have celebrities in mind when I write, but Mila Kunis and Scott Eastwood would rock it, I think.

What TV show would you love to binge watch right now if you could?

I always want to binge Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but a show I’ve never watched that I want to binge is The Sopranos or The Man in the High Castle.

You were recently at the Coastal Magic convention and had a chance to show off your beautiful back tattoo! Are you thinking of getting more? What would you get?

I have three right now. Wanderlust on my wrist, a book with letters floating off the pages on my right shoulder, and a huge abstract ocean/flower scene on my lower back. And YES I want another one. As for what … I still haven’t decided. It has to be something meaningful, and yet unique in some way. I do love je ne regrette rien and also A is A. But I’m not certain. But I am to get one. Hopefully this summer in NYC!

What’s up next as far as releases for you?

SUPER excited for what’s coming! In April, ANCHOR ME, the FOURTH full-length novel in the Stark Trilogy (cuz I just roll that way), featuring Nikki and Damien Stark. And then after that in May, HOLD ME, a 1001 Dark Nights release that is a novella following ANCHOR ME. Then I start a new series of stand-alones that spin-off the Stark world. Three hot heroes, three sexy stories, three happily ever afters: WICKED GRIND, WICKED DIRTY, and WICKED TORTURE.

And in 2018 … a super awesome, super-secret project. WOOT
